Rico. He is the son of renown singer, “El
Indio Araucano”, who enjoyed tremendous success in South and Central
America and resides in New York. (His

for
his contributions to Cuban music on June 3; a tribute to Celia Cruz will
be held at her park in Union City, New Jersey.)
As a teenager in Chile, Osvaldo

Osvaldo’s Music Style
0svaldo is a talented vocalist who
sings in Spanish while playing a Godin midi synthesizer guitar. You will find the best mix of
Latin music, smooth jazz, Latin Jazz, soft rock,
eclectic and world beat in his shows.
Osvaldo performs
mostly in restaurants, lounges and private parties. His audiences
greatly appreciate his warm baritone voice as well as his musical
versatility; he can perform everything from a Tango to a Bolero, Salsa,
Merengue, Cumbia, Flamenco, and Smooth Jazz, and all the ballroom dance
rhythms including ChaCha, Samba, Waltz, Rumba and Bolero, Fox Trot, Paso
Doble, and Swing. Osvaldo can please a quiet dine ’n' dance lounge type
setting, or get a crowd moving on the dance floor.
His act can either be solo, or duo
and/or trio. He can add a percussionist &/or a saxophone player to the
gig. The single act is ideal when you have very limited space, or for a
smaller crowd and budget.
The duo
is ideal for mid-sized venues, private parties, weddings, etc. The
trio is fabulous for larger parties/venues.

Osvaldo's
newest partner is a saxophone player, Jorge Manzano, is also
from Chile. As a very young man, he formed part
of numerous bands and ensembles. At the age of 24 Jorge moved to Vancouver to follow his dream and since
then he has being playing all around BC. Whether he is playing contemporary or straight-ahead jazz, Jorge stands
in a class all by himself. He is known for his unique round sound which is
percussive yet soulful. He has the ability to surprise the audience with
something out of the ordinary. Jorge gives his audience what they come for -
a great show . In the picture below Osvaldo and George (Jorge)
